Soffit profile

Soffit profiles are used for windows and doors in the interior and exterior region as sealing, finishing and protective profiles. They are fixed directly to the interior and exterior surfaces of the frame profile. The profiles must be so positioned that the necessary plaster thickness is achieved.

Soffit profiles show their worth especially in spaces with a high degree of air moisture content as they prevent the formation of cracks in the plaster. After completion of the plastering work, the removable lip can be bent off.

With the soffit profile it is possible to achieve an exactly plumb and flush plaster finish. In addition, the soffit profile does not impair the seal of the joint even for movements of the frame profile caused by temperature conditions.

Our proven Catnic sealing profiles (plaster sealing mouldings) INSIDE with gel instead of foam. For larger window surfaces. Expands up to 15mm with no problem.
