DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION FOR CATNIC ONLINE

1. Information

We hereby inform you in accordance with Â§ 3 Section 5 of the Tele Service Data Law (TDDSG) and in accordance with Â§ 33 Section 1 Federal data protection law (BDSG), that all data that you make available to us through registering, or that is acquired in the course of use of Catnic domain will be collated, stored and processed by us.

The reason for this is the execution and carrying out of the utilization relationship, especially in the preparation and use of the services, for executing (sales) agreements and for invoicing the services.

2. Data storage

All the data acquired in the use of the Catnic domain are stored on the Catnic Server. The Server is situated at the premises of the company Schlund + Partner AG, Brauerstr. 48, 76135 Karlsruhe. We reserve the right to change the locality of the Server and also to change the service provider for the Hosting. In this case we will update this information for data protection, there will be no special message to customers.

3. Acquired data

When you place an order with us, we will ask you for name, address, telephone number, fax number, E-mail address and – depending on the selected method of payment – for further dat on your bank account or your credit card data. These data are necessary for proper execution of your order.

4. Optimizing Catnic domains, further use of the data

We constantly try to optimize the Catnic services, both as regards content and functionality. For this purpose the acquired data is evaluated. The evaluation by third parties only takes place after the data has been made anonymous.

5. Passing on to third parties

We hereby inform you that for purposes of carrying out a contract, especially for purposes of invoicing, we reserve the right to assign the collection of claims to third parties and, as far as is required for this purpose, to make the data available to third parties, including those in other countries. In this case we obligate the third parties to the adherence of the data protection guidelines.

6. Cookies

We store cookies on your hard disk. These small files only contain a short sequence of symbols, e.g. a number, and have no meaning outside of the Internet offer. The cookies are only read by us for the purpose making the use of our application as comfortable as possible. You have the right and the possibility at any time, by means of a corresponding setting of your browser to refuse the cookies and prevent their storage. Our offer will nevertheless be fully at your disposal but can lead to impairment of the utilization comfort and the functionality of our system.

7. Information and deletion

You are entitled, on application, to obtain from us free of charge, information on the data we have stored regarding your person. Incorrect data will be corrected immediately. Data that is acquired, stored or processed with your permission, will be immediately deleted as soon as you withdraw your permission.
